In a series of recent incidents, young people have been killed or seriously injured in high risk and often illegal activities like street racing, train surfing, tagging and bridge jumping; raising questions about why young people make such rash decisions and what more can be done to stop them.

So why do these tragic events keep happening? Is it just because, deep down all young people believe they’re invincible? Is it a drugs and alcohol issue or is there something more physiological going on that prevents people from properly evaluating risks until they reach their mid twenties?
