First bloke Tim Mathieson has always struck us as a thoroughly decent guy. But we never knew quite how soft hearted he was until it was revealed today that he undertook a mammoth December holiday road trip with the PM’s pooch, Reuben.
While Julia flew from Canberra to Melbourne, onto Adelaide and back to Canberra on the VIP jet, Timmy and Reuben packed up the car and did the same journey by road.
Why? Because Tim just can’t say no to puppies.
