MELBOURNE: Impossible Orchestra
The Impossible Orchestra is taking to the stage to raise awareness for carers. Normally accustomed to playing for short periods, they will attempt the somewhat impossible feat of playing for a full 24 hours, with guest conductors including Shaun Micallef, Colin Lane, Josh Thomas, Francis Greenslade and - oh, look, Charlie Pickering! From the producers of the FRINGE WORLD Festival, Rooftop Movies returns to Northbridge for an extended Perth summer season. The pop-up venue runs until the end of April, and from Sunday to Wednesday this week they're celebrating Halloween with a run of classic horror flicks. BOO! (Did I scare you?)
ADELAIDE: Girl Guides Car Wash Record
Girl Guides is teaming up with Repco in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for ‘Most Cars Washed in a Day’ this Saturday. They're looking to wash 4,350 cars at approximately 100 selected Repco stores across Australia. So wherever you are, help the guides make car-washing history!
