It might be Friday the 13th, but we're sure you'll have nothing but good luck if you follow our Metro Whip-Around tips!

Brisbane: The Love Vintage Show

This weekend in Brisbane, come and check out the Love Vintage Show! It’s one of the biggest collections of vintage and retro clothing, accessories and collectibles in the country. More than just shopping, why not get vintage cut from Tony the barber? Tony can give you the Elvis Presley or a Beatles mop top. The show is on all weekend at the Brisbane Convention Centre.

Perth: The Big Top Olympians

For school holiday fun, take the kids to the Big Top Olympians! Extreme sporting spectacles and hilarious circus displays all mashed together in one big top bonanza. See well known favourites such as the 100m sprint, high dive and badminton, as well as the little known egg and spoon race, superlight straw javelin and the three-legged race. It's happening in the city every day of the school holidays... and it's free!

Adelaide: Hairspray

The smash hit musical Hairspray is in Adelaide for 2 more weeks! John Waters’ wonderfully wacky 60s story about pleasantly plump teenager Tracy Turnblad who turns Baltimore and segregation on its ear, has been a worldwide sensation on screen and stage. You'll be dancing in the aisles! Shows on tomorrow at the Arts Theatre before moving to Elizabeth's Shedley Theatre.

Melburne: Fun at Docklands

The Docklands this weekend will be more fun than punching 58008 into a calculator and turning it upside down... They’re opening The Docklands Community Garden on Sunday with heaps to do for all the family! Snow World is also on all of July (heaps better than Snowtown), and if that’s not enough… It’s Friday the 13th, and you could find yourself right in the middle of a Spooky Spectacular!

Sydney: SMASH!

Head to the Sydney Convention Centre for SMASH!, the Sydney Manga and Anime Show. It's Australia's biggest celebration of Japanese pop culture. SMASH! encourages all forms of anime fandom through cosplay, panels, games, and other special popular culture events... like unlimited karaoke! It's all day Saturday at the Sydney Convention Centre.
