Assuming you aren’t one of those lofty, better people known as vegetarians and vegans, then you probably have a favourite cut of meat. Perhaps a juicy eye fillet or chicken breast. But did you know that these delicious treats are just a small part of much larger animals? (Stop me if I’m going too fast for you.) Animals such as sheep and cows, it turns out, contain lots of other stuff – almost all of which can be eaten.

‘Nose to tail’ is  a growing movement which advocates using as much of a slaughtered animal as possible. It’s a reaction both to the ethical and environmental concerns of farming animals for consumption, and tonight we’ll hear from some people embracing the push to broaden the minds of meat-eaters, including MasterChef alumni Chris ‘The Hat’ Badenoch.
