The Project’s regular LA correspondent brings us the latest from Hollywood and beyond.. on the rare occasion that he’s actually at home.

Hyla has interviewed some of the biggest celebrities in Hollywood, from Matthew McConaughey to Madonna, and every reality star in between, but what he’s addicted to most about his job is the travel.

His work has taken him to London for the Royal Wedding, Moscow for the world premiere of Transformers, and Toronto for the International Film Festival, just to name a few. He started documenting his travels via his blog, GlobalAddicts.com.

This go-to pop culture guy can be seen weekly on CNN's Showbiz Tonight and PRIME News and has been featured on ABC's Good Morning America, Fox News, Chelsea Lately and E! News. Since 1998 Hyla has produced and hosted both local and national radio shows in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Charlotte and Orlando including the "Yo on E!" show seen daily on the E! Entertainment Network and heard on Sirius.

In 2009 Hyla took a break from Hollywood and moved to Paris, DJing speakeasies and living the life of a Parisian. He also spent time traveling the world making extended stops in Poland and Indonesia.

Luckily, he returned to LA just in time to answer The Project’s call.
