The Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice regulates program content on commercial free-to-air television, including:
- program classification;
- accuracy, fairness and respect for privacy in news and current affairs;
- non-program time on television; and
- placement of commercials and program promotions.
We value audience feedback as an important way of keeping in touch with community opinion. If your feedback concerns a particular program you should contact the relevant station. On the map above click on your nearest capital city for contact details of the Network Ten station in your area.
The Code of Practice sets out a formal complaints process for matters covered by the Code of Practice. If you believe a station has acted contrary to the Code of Practice you should contact the station concerned. If you wish the station to reply formally you should follow the guide below. If you would like more information about the complaints process you can obtain a copy of the Code by downloading it from the FreeTV website or by writing to FreeTV Australia, 44 Avenue Road, Mosman, NSW, 2088
Write a letter (and send by post or fax) or print and complete a complaint form TEN will provide a substantive written response to a written complaint about matters covered by the Code.

N.B. If you live outside the metropolitan area, your nearest TEN station may be a regional affiliate of TEN in which case you should direct your complaints to your local regional office of TEN and not one of the capital city stations as displayed here.
