BRISBANE: Independence Day Festival

It’s the biggest day on the US calendar and if you want to celebrate the day the Yanks threw off the yolk of the Brits, head on down to the Independence Day Festival at Riverlife! There’ll be fireworks, cheerleaders, Uncle Sam, hot dogs, cheerleaders, cheeseburgers, fried chicken, and even some cheerleaders!

ADELAIDE: Razzle Dazzle on Ice

Watch in amazement as Australian champion skaters carve up the ice, performing jumps, twists, spins and turns to a soundtrack of Top 4O Hits! The fabulous set, elaborate costuming and catchy hits are sure to keep the kids entertained and perhaps even get them up dancing!

PERTH: Freemantle Markets

With 150 stores to wander around, plenty of live music, delicious food, and fabulous fashion, the Freemantle Markets are well worth a look! There’s a baby animal farm for the kiddliwinks and plenty more going on!

SYDNEY:  Winterlight Festival

Be part of the Winterlight Festival with a beautiful themed food and outdoor cafe area under the beautiful lights. The area will come alive with beautiful lighting, installations and décor whilst roving street performers entertain.

Winterlight will offer themed stalls, winter activities for children, as well as an assortment of food outlets selling sweet Dutch pancakes, creamy hot chocolate, soothing warm soup and more. Drop into the Church Street Mall in Parramatta to enjoy the winter wonderland!

MELBOURNE: Melbourne Boat Show

Who doesn’t like boats? Fish maybe? Apart from them, everyone does! And the Melbourne Exhibition Centre is the place to be for those interested in the aquatic arts. There’s not just the latest in boat tech, there’s an enormous indoor fish tank that you can actually fish in, and even a rock climbing wall. If it’s all too much there’s even a Manspace where you can kick back and enjoy a quiet beverage.
