The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) ad features Anderson posing in a blue string bikini with her body parts marked in butcher’s labels such as “rump”, “breast” and “ribs”, with the slogan “All Animals Have The Same Parts”.

Canadian-born Anderson says the ban is hypocritical, "in a city that is known for its exotic dancing and for being progressive and edgy, how sad that a woman would be banned from using her own body in a political protest over the suffering of cows and chickens".

PETA Senior Vice President Dan Mathews weighed in: “I think that city officials are confusing ‘sexy’ with ‘sexist’.”   Pammy pointed out "in some parts of the world, women are forced to cover their whole bodies with burqas - is that next? I didn't think that Canada would be so puritanical."

Anderson became a vegetarian in her teens after she saw her father cleaning out an animal he had hunted and killed. The Dancing with The Stars contestant is a long time PETA activist, and this is not the first time she has stripped down for one of their campaigns.
